Kodak v550 vs. EX-Z750 - Casio - Digital Cameras (Point and Shoot) - Steves Forums
Casion Z750 has manual controls (shutter & aperture) whereas Kodak V550 has only programmed mode (hence less needed to switch between programmed/manual modes by dial).... The new Kodak V550 could be the front runner among ultra compact cameras, and a horse nose ahead of the Z750....

I am lacking a small pocketable cam and had decided on the Casio Z750 until I saw the V550.... I satisfied my curiosity by checking out the V550 and now I know for sure that the Casio Z750 is my pocket camera of choice!...

The Z750 lets you choose each item individually whether you want it to reset or keep the settings....   The LCD is about twice the resolution of the Z750 and well over twice the resolution of the S500....

Not sure where you read the photo quality isn’t good on the Z750....   He says they are bad on the V550, but owners seem to like the movies on that as well....

In my opinion it still looks like the new S500 overall beats the V550, mostly because the very slim design.... OK I am just an amateur too enthusiastic about the Kodak V550 having convenient DV capability....

I dunno, but there seems to be much more firmware changes in the Z750 update than Casio is willing to admit.... I own the Kodak V550 now, and DC280 in 1999....
